SYCOB's unbeaten start to the 2015-16 season continued with a fine, hard working, team performance in the victory over Potters Bar Town.

The first half hour or so was fairly uneventful with both teams trading midfield possession and neither goal keeper unduly troubled. That all changed in the 35th minute when some good link up play by Tristan Campbell and Lee Togwell set up Charlie Losasso who sent a great shot past Mike Underwood in The Scholars goal.

The second period saw The Rams further cement their grip on the game in the 49th minute when Losasso curled a great free kick past Underwood to give SYCOB a two goal cushion. They could (and should) have chalked up a couple more when Guri Demuria hit the bar with a header on 66 minutes and Rob Gerrard had a shot well saved when well placed.
In truth, Beaconsfield keeper Sam Bunting was rarely troubled by The Scholars forwards and was well protected by the central defensive pairing of Demuria and Alex Murray. Andy Dean made some good runs down the left in support of Gerrard whilst Campbell and Losasso pretty much controlled the midfield.

The points were finally secured on 87 minutes when another bout of quality one touch passing football set up Captain Togwell to fire past Underwood for his second goal in a week and SYCOB moved up to second place in the league table.
