Henry Snee scored two as Stotfold hung on for the points at Beaconsfield, who will be feeling frustrated not to have at least got the draw.
An outstanding first 20 minutes for the visitors saw Henry Snee score twice, in the 2nd minute he fired in from close range before scoring in the 19th with a tap in after Beaconsfield were caught out from a long throw. Beaconsfield grew into the game and got one back in the 26th minute. Manu Oke-William heading in after Thomas Dickson-Peters flicked on from a cross from James Dobson.
In the second half both teams had chances to score but neither could find the clinical touch. Beaconsfield had what looked a stone wall penalty for handball waved away before the visitors missed several good chances. The task was made harder for Beaconsfield, with James Dobson seeing his second yellow card for a late tackle. Despite the red, it looked like only Beaconsfield would score in the closing stages, but they couldn’t quite get the ball over the line.
Despite the result, there was good news for Beaconsfield with Jamie Davies, this season's standout man, signing an exclusive contract at the club.
