Leverstock Green 1-2 Beaconsfield Town by Arran White

Beaconsfield Town came from behind to secure a hard-fought 2-1 victory over Leverstock Green, with Blaaze Lawrence playing a decisive role in the comeback.

The Rams started brightly and had two early chances to take the lead. Charlie Smith headed wide before Mack Miskin also went close with a header that flew over the bar.

Leverstock were rewarded for their pressure in the 14th minute when Iker Noguera Leon struck from the edge of the box, finding the back of the net to make it 1-0.

Dan Hill was booked in the 21st minute, with the resulting Leverstock free kick sent high over the bar. Guilio Marroni then came close from distance, his effort narrowly missing the target.

Beaconsfield continued to push and found their equaliser in the 36th minute. A well-worked move created space for Blaaze Lawrence inside the box, and he made no mistake, firing into the bottom corner to bring the score level at 1-1.

The half ended finely balanced at 1-1.

The second half saw Beaconsfield have the ball in the net through Mekhai Bessasa-Grant, but the flag was raised for offside. The breakthrough finally came in the 70th minute. Blaaze Lawrence won a penalty after a superb run into the box, and he stepped up to convert from the spot, completing the turnaround and putting Beaconsfield 2-1 ahead.

Alfie Anderson was introduced for Joel Onu, before Mohamed Gamal replaced Mekhai Bessasa-Grant as Beaconsfield looked to see out the game.

Six minutes of added time were indicated, with Leverstock pushing for a late equaliser. Freddie Ford produced a crucial block in the 93rd minute to preserve Beaconsfield’s advantage.

The final whistle soon followed, giving them a well-earned 2-1 victory.

Blaaze Lawrence is today's ROTM.
