FRIENDLY WIN FOR SYCOB!

HARROWDON 0 BEACONSFIELD SYCOB 2

Tuesday 1st October saw a squad of players representing Beaconsfield SYCOB defeat a mix of Hendon and Harrow Borough players 2-0 in a friendly at Earlsmead, Harrows home ground at which Hendon are tenants!

The match was designed to give The Rams management a chance to look at some trialists, give run outs to some of the fringe players and try existing First Teamers in different positions. Goals from Aaron Lansiquot and Nathan Poulton, one in either half, gave SYCOB a 2-0 victory which could have been greater had Brain Haule not had a penalty saved.

The squad for the game featured - Garry Malone, James Reading, Jordan Ajanlekoko, Craig Carby, Wayne O'Sullivan, Adam Cash, Brad Hewitt, John Christian, Ben Long, James McCluskey, Aaron Lansiquot, Kyle Matthews, Will Sturgess, Emmanuel Kadima, Nathan Poulton, Nathan Webb, Tom Inch and Brian Haule

Next up for The Rams, on Saturday 5th October, is an FA Trophy Preliminary Round tie away to Shortwood United of the Calor Gas League Division One South & West Division. Post code is GL6 0SJ for sat nav / route planners.

If the Shortwood game is not drawn then Tuesday 8th October will see SYCOB make the short trip to Ashford Town (Middx) for a 7.45 kick off in the Calor League Central Division. Post Code is TW19 7BH.

Saturday October 12th with a 3 O'clock kick off is yet another away league fixture, this time against local rivals Chalfont St.Peter. This is followed on Tuesday 15th October by (you guessed it) another away game, this time a First Round Red Insure Cup tie against Thatcham Town.

Next confirmed home game at Holloways Park is on Saturday 26th October when we will play St.Ives Town and then two days later, on Monday 28th, we will be at home again in a re-arranged fixture with Rugby Town.

Come On You Rams!
