RAMS Take the Next Step Forward

Beaconsfield Town have entered into a long-term, strategic partnership with United Select, who will lead the Player Development Pathway (PDP) at Holloways Park from this May, in preparation for the 2023/24 season.

The club’s new PDP for local talent will incorporate the boys U16’s, U18s and U21’s teams, alongside the women’s first and development teams, providing the best facilities with the goal to drive success on the pitch and giving players the best possible pathway to represent Beaconsfield Town at 1st team level and beyond.

Our boys will compete at the regions’ highest level, including the Allied Counties, Isthmian Youth and FA Youth Cup, and our U21’s will compete in the Suburban League Premier. Our ambitious girls and ladies’ program will also be pushing to compete at a higher competitive level, attracting the best young, local talent.

United Select will utilise the facilities at BTFC for training and games whilst continuing to provide education opportunities in Sport, Coaching and Personal Training from their own Sports College base just 15 minutes from BTFC in Iver.

As part of our new technical partnership, we are also delighted to announce that Tristan Lewis will assume a Technical Director style role with the club. Tristan has been working in a consulting capacity for the club since January and was instrumental in securing the services of Neil Baker and Jon Underwood, our new first team managers.

Tristan will have a hands on approach supporting Neil and Jon with his experience of managing and coaching in the National League at first team level with Ebbsfleet, Maidstone, Welling, Hayes & Yeading and Billericay Town. whilst driving forwards our Player Development Pathway over the coming years, allowing the club to benefit from his experience in working previously for Reading FC and in his current role in the Emerging Talent Department at Arsenal FC.

Chairman Chris Coyle said of the appointment, “Tristan has had a long and successful career in football at all levels, being involved in over 500 games in the National League and working in Premier League Academy set ups. He will work closely with our directors to achieve our goal of sustainably progressing towards the next level in the National League, whilst guiding a new and exciting Player Development Program at the club.”
