Beaconsfield Town search to end their losing run on Tuesday night as they host Potters Bar Town.

The Rams currently sit in 12th place on just 15 points following their narrow 1-0 defeat against Hertford Town at the weekend. This defeat extends their losing run to two league games with their last win back at the start of October having secured a 2-1 victory over Leverstock Green.

Despite the difficult period Beaconsfield are facing, they have found many positives within their games including creating several promising opportunities and having lengthy spells of possession against Hertford. They will be looking to bring these into their fixture against recently relegated, Potters Bar.

The Scholars have had a strong start to the season. They currently sit third in the table, level on points with leaders Didcot Town and second-placed Winslow United.

Despite their exciting start, Potters Bar suffered a 2-1 defeat to London Lions at the weekend after falling behind from a 1-0 lead. However, prior to their loss they had remained unbeaten for four games highlighting their consistency.

Following The Scholars relegation last season, Tuesday’s encounter becomes more significant with both sides having not faced each other for several years.

The Rams could use their greater experience at Step 4 and their home advantage against Potters Bar to hopefully secure some points.
