Tom L & Baylo hawks report ?

It’s fair to say this wasn’t a vintage performance. Our passing and movement were not as slick as they have been in recent weeks.
But this just shows how far we’ve come given that we’re looking for more from the boys even despite 2 strong wins.

We were in total control in the first game vs Aylesbury. The boys were solid at the back thanks to Finn and Harry, which allowed us to chase and tackle and push for goals.
Henry L got us underway with the first and then George with a lovely left foot strike gave us the win 2-0.

The second game was a tale of two halves.
We went in 1-1 against probably the better oppo in Wendover, but after the break we cruised to a 6-1 win, taking all of our chances. George x1 Shankar x2 and Saran x3 with the goals

A massive well done to our Hawks on a glorious morning. You all battled hard and your quality shone through.

Well done to MOTM Henry, who for the second week in a row showed real quality going forward and when called upon was rock solid in defence.

Sunshine, hard work from the boys, and some great passing moves were the perfect combination to help the Hawks to 2 wins today ☀️⚽?

Over the past few weeks, the boys have really developed a strong team spirit and work ethic. Combined with a big improvement in our passing as a team, that has helped us score more goals and, just as importantly, only concede 1 goal in the last 4 games.

Today’s goals came from Charlie Edgar, Charlie Mills and Julian, with Charlie Edgar picking up Man of the Match after an all-action performance and 2 goals ⚽⭐
