The Buffalos kicked off the new year with a convincing 6-2 victory at home to Loudwater United. After a fast start, it was in fact the visitors who opened the scoring courtesy of a wonder strike from 30+ yards out. Thankfully, we reacted well and levelled proceedings thanks to an equally as impressive strike from our number 10, George Michell.
Conor Stables put us in front shortly after, finishing off a fine move created by Martin Filipov. Loudwater did have a chance to level before the half-time break but a fine penalty save from Matt Eteen prevented the equaliser. Beaconsfield were quick out of the blocks in the second period, stretching the lead to 3-1 as Reuben Lin switched the play to Jack Lloyd who put it on a plate for Tom Stables to finish the move!
Another Jack Lloyd assist helped Martin Filipov get on the scoresheet and Conor Stables would score twice more to complete his hat-trick! The visitors may have pulled back one more but it was a resounding result for the Buffalos to kick-off 2026.
