Finally back to winning ways this morning as the Buffalos recorded a comfortable 4-1 victory over All Trades FC. It really couldn’t have started any better as George Michell opened the scoring inside the first minute. Plenty of Beaconsfield chances would follow but we’d have to be patient, waiting until the 35th minute for Tom Stables to double our advantage. A few minutes later and it was three as Martin Filipov slipped in behind to finish off a brilliant move!
The half-time expectation was that there’d be more of the same but All Trades defended well in the second half, preventing any easy chances. They were even able to get up the other end and grab a goal back to make it 3-1. Our number 29, Martin Filipov, still had one more trick up his sleeve though and after already grabbing both a goal and assist, he put the ball in the back of the net to restore our three goal cushion and secure all three points!
A great result, especially considering the woeful playing surface. One more to go in the league but first an Easter break and a cheeky trip to Spain!
