Bring on Division 1! A point a piece with King George V is enough for the Buffalos to secure 2nd place in Division 2 of the HWSFC League and with it, a return to the top flight. While we’re naturally disappointed not to have made it a closer affair with FC Lions, we’re incredibly proud to have finished as runners-up after only merging with Bucks Buffalos back in August.
Of the two teams, it was the visitors who were the quicker to adapt to the rock hard pitch but a silly defensive error led to Jordan Alleyne-Angell winning Beaconsfield a penalty and George Michell expertly converted. King George got two back to lead at the half-time break but Jordan Alleyne-Angell snuck in behind once again during the second period and slotted home to bring us level!
There was little to separate the two sides in the final 20 minutes but a point was enough to get us over the line as we finished the season with 34 points from 18 league games.
