Beaconsfield Town men’s and women’s teams are back in action, with both sides facing away trips this weekend. The men’s team face Winslow United, where they’ll look to return to winning ways, whilst the women’s team head to AFC Portchester for their third consecutive win.

Men’s team: Rams look to bounce back to winning ways against tough test Winslow United

Beaconsfield men’s travel to Winslow United on Saturday for a challenging fixture as they hope to return to winning ways after Tuesday night’s defeat.

The Rams suffered a 3-1 loss against Welwyn Garden City, despite Alex Peapell’s outstanding goal the game ended in a disappointing defeat. This proved to be a frustrating result, especially after their upturn in form.

The result has left Beaconsfield ninth in the table on 18 points ahead of their fixture against Winslow United.

Winslow sit top of the table on 30 points, despite their recent 4-2 loss against Aylesbury United.

With Winslow earning promotion to the league at the end of last season, Beaconsfield have not recently faced them. This sets Saturday’s fixture up to be a challenging one.

The Rams will be looking to move on from Tuesday night's result and put in a strong performance against the league leaders as they hope to return to winning ways.

*Women’s team: Rams look for third consecutive win against AFC Portchester *

Beaconsfield women’s team are looking to earn three consecutive victories as they travel to AFC Portchester this weekend.

The Rams earned their first league victory, having secured a crucial 4-2 win over Denham United in their last outing. The result gave them two back-to-back wins, which moved them to ninth in the table on four points.

Beaconsfield face a tough fixture on Sunday against second-placed AFC Portchester, who currently have 13 points.

Despite Portchester sitting second, they suffered a heavy 5-0 defeat to Oxford United in their most recent fixture, with all five goals coming in the second half.

The Rams will be hoping to take advantage of their recent setback and carry their winning momentum into the fixture to secure their second league victory.
