Study & Play your way to success with Beaconsfield Town FC & VLUK.

If you’re aged 16 to 18 and interested in sports coaching, then we have the perfect course for you!

In addition to studying sport, you will have access to our professional staff and facilities in the heart of the industry, where you will have the opportunity to develop your passion for sport.

The aim of Beaconsfield Town FC Academy is to be a leader in the development of football and education. We will establish an identity of excellence as we pursue our pathway to success, with our primary focus being the development and education of players, coaches and people. We will provide opportunities and pathways to young people to achieve their full potential in the classroom and on the pitch.

“Football is now a massive UK industry employing thousands with roles from players to administrators, physios to analyst’s and more. At the Beaconsfield Town Academy we aim to provide a pathway for young people to recognise their dream of working within the football industry. Every young footballer wants to be a star, some will be, whilst others will forge careers in the game in other roles and at many different levels. Our aim is to help all of our students reach their potential both on the pitch and academically so that their dream of a working life in football becomes a reality.”

Why Beaconsfield Town FC Academy?

We are an “education first” football Academy with clear routes to semi-professional and professional clubs, as well as University.

Based at non-league football club and coached by the current First Team Manager, Gary Meakin, Beaconsfield Town FC Academy offers an immersive football experience different to other academies with clear pathways to first team football and beyond.

We currently have 5 Academy Students regularly involved with our First Team Squad which has led to Premier League Scouts attending games.

Learners are expected to put in as much work academically as they do on the pitch, ensuring they have a bright future, if they do not make it as a professional player.

With football becoming an industry about more than just the players, we work closely with learners to identify areas of interest off the pitch, then guide them towards the job role within football that matches that interest.

Roles we can support include coaching, scouting, physiotherapy, social media management, and many more. An example of this is our sort after “Student Coach” role we offer to our second-year students, giving the chosen student the chance to complete the FA Level 2 qualification and gain a full year of coaching experience within the Academy.
