In the first ever "El Ramio" The Rams of Beaconsfield battered The Rams of Petersfield, a devastating first half display by Beaconsfield putting paid to any hope the visitors had of returning to Hampshire with anything other than a trip to a new ground to show for their efforts.
As early as the second minute Aaron Berry fired a shot just wide and sixty seconds later a mad scramble in the Petersfield box nearly resulted in a Beaconsfield goal. The first one did come on nine minutes, however, when Charlie Losasso ran at the visitors defence and placed a shot past Anthony Ender.
Less than ten minutes later it was 2-0 as Berry pounced on a ball spilled by Ender. The keeper did make a good save from a Berry header on 33 minutes but he was powerless two minutes later to stop Losasso getting his second and the Beaconsfield Rams third as a cross by Berry saw Losasso shoot through a crowded area to put the ball into the right hand corner of the net.
With Lee Togwell harassing the opposition every time they had the ball and every man in red and white at the top of their game - no mean feat after the mauling by Chalfont two days earlier - it was no surprise when Aaron Berry, a minute before the break, turned on the edge of the Petersfield box and fired a low shot once again in to the right hand corner of the net.
Despite a severe half time rollicking Petersfield went 5-0 down on 55 minutes when Trevor Montero picked out Charlie Losasso with an inch perfect cross and the on fire Beaconsfield forward gleefully smashed the ball home through the legs of Ender.
Omari Patrick put a shot over on 66 minutes and Guri Demuria three minutes later went very close with an improvised strike after a Losasso free kick. For a brief period Beaconsfield took their foot off the pedal and on 70 minutes Petersfield had their first effort of note but it failed to trouble 'relief' goal keeper Billy Collins who was standing in for the injured Sam Bunting.
The 90th minute saw Ender make two superb stops, first from Losasso and then from Jack Read, but there was no denying the night (and the three points!) belonged to the Rams of Beaconsfield. Now for the return to Chalfont!
