This is the first part of a review of the recent 2013-14 season

In the 2103-14 season SYCOB used 51 different players including five goalkeepers - Michael Pearce, Cameron Inch, Derek Lewis, Garry Malone and James Reading - and had six different Captains - Yiadom Yeboah, Craig Carby, Nathan Webb, Aaron Morgan, Reece Yorke and Brad Hewitt

James Reading made the most appearances (49) followed by Nathan Webb (40) and Jordan 'AJ' Ajanlekoko (40), Craig Carby (37), Brad Hewitt (35) and Zak Joseph (33)

At the other end of the spectrum, Garry Malone, Cameron Inch, Scott Shulton, Sam Walters and Emanuel Kadima all only made a solitary substitute appearance in a SYCOB shirt last season.

Top scorer was Zak Joseph with 15 goals followed by Kofi Lockhart-Adams (13) and Tom O' Regan (12). Jon-Jo Bates scored seven and both Nathan Poulton and Jack Hutchinson notched six. In total, across all competitions, SYCOB scored 102 goals with 80 conceded

In total the 2013-14 season saw The Rams play 52 matches in all competitions, winning 27, losing 17 and drawing 8
