Beaconsfield Town looks forward to a bright future

Beaconsfield Town, a football club with a rich history, is gearing up for an exciting new season. Despite a disappointing performance by the first team last year, there are promising signs on the horizon.

Youth Development and Achievements:

  • The U21 squad, primarily composed of boys aged 16-18 representing partner club Windsor FC in the Combined Counties League, finished a commendable 18th place. Their experience playing against adult teams has been invaluable.
  • The U18 Boys clinched victory in the County Cup, showcasing their talent and determination.
  • The Women’s team had a strong finish in their league and secured the Southern Region League Cup by defeating Woking in an intense final.

Leadership and Vision:

  • Technical director Tristan Lewis, an experienced coach who has managed in the National League, is at the helm of the club’s exciting football model. Currently working with Arsenal’s prestigious talent scouting team, Tristan brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise.
  • Supporting Tristan are his management team: Garry Haylock, Sam Togwell, Matt Stowell, Tom Spring, and Brian Harris.

Upcoming Fixtures:

  • The new season kicked off last night with a home friendly match against Flackwell Heath, which eneded 3-3.
  • On Saturday, the First Team faces Bedford Town in another fixture at Holloway park, kick off at 1:00 pm.
  • The First Team will now compete in the Southern League Division 1 Central, with fixtures set to be announced mid-month. Notably, reduced travel awaits them, with the longest journey being 59 miles (compared to the arduous 275-mile trek to Truro).

Youth Pathway and Progression:

  • Windsor and the U18 teams will prominently feature young talent. These players have the opportunity to perform above their age level and gain crucial experience as part of the club’s Pathway program.
  • The Women’s management is equally committed to promoting young girls into the first team, providing them with a chance to progress and thrive at the senior level.

Fan Support and Exciting Prospects:

  • The club relies on the unwavering support of its fans. In return, they promise an exhilarating football experience across all levels.
  • As preseason approaches, fans are encouraged to visit Holloways Park and be part of this exciting new journey.

Beaconsfield Town is poised for greatness, fueled by youthful talent and a vision for success. Let’s cheer them on as they embark on this thrilling adventure! ⚽🔥👏
