Creating an Integrated Club

Beaconsfield Town FC and Beaconsfield Town Youth FC today announced plans to work together to create an integrated community football club, building a single, co-ordinated proposition for local residents and a pathway from U6s all the way through to Adult football.

The two clubs will remain separate legal and financial entities, with their own committees and management, but will operate as a combined brand and collaborate to provide a seamless offering for all local footballers.

Key features of this collaboration will include:

  • Moving to a single kit (Beaconsfield Town’s smart all-red strip) with a single badge – helping to increase visibility of and support for ‘The Rams’ in Beaconsfield and the surrounding areas.
  • Merging websites to make the combined proposition easy to understand and interact with.
  • Integrating the junior and youth sections (U18) to provide a single set of teams, managed by Beaconsfield Town Youth (except for U16 and U18 elite teams that will continue to be managed as part of the Beaconsfield Town FC Academy set-up).
  • Bringing the new girls’ teams together into a single proposition that will form the foundations for a significant expansion in this important and growing part of the game.
  • Providing the junior and youth teams with greater access to the Holloways Park facilities and 3G pitch for training, a summer tournament, the annual Awards day and holiday soccer camps.
  • Seeking to introduce a new ‘community’ adult team to run alongside the existing First Team and U23 squads.

The committees of the two clubs are now working closely together to ensure that the necessary preparations are completed to enable this single, co-ordinated proposition and brand are in place for the forthcoming 2023/24 season. Full details of this will be communicated in due course.

For parents of players currently affiliated with Beaconsfield Town FC, please note:

  • No new kit will be required.
  • For the remainder of this season, there will no change to training schedules or locations or existing squad plans.
  • Subs should continue to be paid until the end of the season to the current club, as per existing arrangements.
  • For next season, there will be room for all interested players to join the Beaconsfield Town Youth set-up.
  • If you have any further questions, please contact your coaches in the first instance and then the club.
