Beaconsfield Town FC were saddened to hear of the recent passing of former Club stalwart Dennis Anderson. Denis was involved with the club for well over 30 years, initially in its Beaconsfield United days and then when it was relaunched as Beaconsfield back in 1994. An active Committee member , most people will recall him for selling the programmes at the gate and his regular cries of "come on you Becks" though any job that needed doing across the club he was usually on hand to volunteer for.
The funeral will take place on Weds 29 March at the Hampden Chapel at Amersham Crematorium with a reception at the Royal Standard in Wooburn Common (by Odds Farm) afterwards.
A minutes silence was held in his memory before last Saturday's game against Ashford Town.
