Social media sensation Hashtag United are making a visit to Holloways Park, to play a one-off memorial match against Beaconsfield Town, all in aid of the British Heart Foundation.
Hashtag United is a YouTube-based football club with a massive following, founded in 2016. All of their games are recorded and posted on youtube, and they regularly play against the staff of Premier League or MLS teams. On Tuesday 12th September, however, they will be playing local team Beaconsfield Town.
This game will be held in Memory of Don “Fergie” Ferguson, a local footballer who sadly passed away in August 2016. The Beaconsfield team will include several players from Swans FC, the club that Fergie, Spencer FC (the founder of Hashtag United) and several other Hashtag players were part of. £1 from each ticket will be donated to the British Heart Foundation.
