Tomorrow we make the journey down to the south coast where we come up against Gosport Borough and a familiar face with Beaconsfield connections. Someone that not only Jon and I know well but someone who also helps run his U10’s boys team at Beaconsfield Town, Mark Molesey.
After a long season for the players and with a number of changes it will be great to finish off with a victory, but we know any side managed by Mark will be a tough nut to crack.
In terms of squad news, we will be without Dan Bradshaw, who picked up an injury in the 3-3 draw against North Leigh, and Lucas Sinclair who is unavailable due to personal commitments. However we do have Henry Grad available for us, and he will come into the side in place of Cairo Richards in goal.
As a club, we would like to congratulate Weston Super Mare on winning the title on Tuesday night and wish Bracknell, Truro Chesham, and Poole Town the very best in the upcoming playoffs.
We would also like to wish our U23s the very best in their upcoming Suburban league cup final.
They take on St Albans at Uxbridge on Thursday Night. 27th April 2023.
On the same night, The U18s are also in action, seeking to cap a highly successful season in The Champion of Champions playoff.
They make the short trip to Wilks Park to face Flackwell Heath.
We hope you have a good summer.
