Following his decision to move to Burnham FC, Meaks has sent over this message

It is with heavy heart that I leave the club and move to take up the position of 1st team manager at nearby Burnham FC. It has not been an easy decision to make and one that has caused me a few sleepless nights. I would like to thank everybody at the club who made me feel welcome and appreciated in my time here and obviously the players who have done the club proud this season.

A special mention to Chairman Fred Deanus, Club Secretary Robin Woolman, Vice Chairman Paul Hughes, President Dave Piercy, Mark Brennan, Steve Davis, Physio Phil Gray , Karl McKenzie and Taff whose support and encouragement has been invaluable to me. I genuinely wish the club continued success in the future and it will always maintain a place in my affections.
