NEW MANAGER! NEW TEAM! NEW SYCOB!!!!

An update from a very excited Holloways Park!

Beaconsfield SYCOB FC is delighted to announce a new strategic alliance for the coming season. The Club has partnered for the season with the FAB Academy (based at Bisham Abbey), who will work with the Board of Directors to oversee all footballing matters for the year ahead.

The alliance sees FAB founder and Director of Football, Nas Bashir (Pro Licence coach), join the management team of the club and bring with him his senior coaching staff from FAB to manage team affairs. Nas will be supported by Andy Hurley and Lee Togwell, who will assume the roles of manager and player coach respectively. Further support will be provided by the senior coaches and staff at the academy. Graduates from the academy will be integrated into a squad that will include a number of very experienced signings.

FAB was founded in 2011 with the express purpose of developing talented young footballers to play at the highest level, affording them both a chance of a football career and a strong education off the pitch, the latter in partnership with The Charters School in Ascot. Three years of scholars have now graduated from the academy, to join clubs, go on to further education or secure exciting careers in sport.

Nas commented "This is a fantastic opportunity for us to work with a well-established club, run by a passionate board of directors and bring our talented scholars through into senior football. We aim to build on a strong performance last season, play some exciting football and see a team challenging on all fronts. Pre-season has started well and this group of players can't wait to see the season start."

The Board of Directors at Beaconsfield SYCOB believe the alliance will strengthen the club both on and off the pitch. A spokesperson commented "It's always been our aim to improve the quality of all aspects of the club and we feel that working with the FAB coaches and some of their brightest young scholars will do that. There is a real energy around the club and my fellow directors and I enter the season with real confidence."

The club will host Barnet FC in a pre-season friendly on 5th August and the season kicks off with a Home fixture against Bedford Town on 9th August.

Come On You Rams!
