Beaconsfield lost 2-1 to Flackwell Heath for a third time this season, after a disastrous first ten minutes at Wilks Park on Easter Monday.

Beaconsfield suffered a blow in the warmup, with Jacques Kpohomouh picking up a knock and withdrawing from the starting team. Beaconsfield started well in the opening couple of minutes with a few great attacks nearly giving them the lead. However, a good ball past the defence to Wiktor Makowski gave Flackwell Heath the chance they needed to take an early lead. Makowski breezed past the defence and fired the ball into the bottom corner past an on-rushing Tommy Dymott with only 4 minutes on the clock. Things soon worsened for Beaconsfield, with 9 minutes on the clock Makowski scored again, with a goal similar to the opener. Once again, he easily beat the defence, this time going round Dymott and then firing into the bottom corner again. It began to look like it could be a long afternoon for Beaconsfield, 2-0 down inside 10 minutes against good opposition.

Beaconsfield quickly regrouped and grew back into the game, dominating large parts of it from then on. A good free kick from Josh Marcon was headed just over by Luke Neville, before a corner was headed just wide by Manu Oke – William. As the game approached the break, Josh Marcon found space on the edge of the box, and curled a shot towards goal which hit the post and bounced in to reduce the deficit and see the game enter half time poised at 2-1.

The second half was dominated by Beaconsfield, with several good attacks coming close to them equalising, however the ball would not quite fall for them, and they missed the finishing touch to level the tie. A fantastic chance fell to Beaconsfield from a free kick, however despite a great position it was shot straight into the keeper's arms. Beaconsfield continued to push for an equaliser but could not get the ball over the line, with the game finally finishing Flackwell Heath 2-1 Beaconsfield.

Beaconsfield bring their season to a close on Saturday, hosting Ware at Holloways Park at 3pm.
