Ram of the match: Troy Silvera
Attendance: 150
The Rams were beaten 3-0 at home by Ware on the final day of the season and finish the 24/25 season in 11th place in the Southern League Central Division.
It was a poor start for the Rams as they failed to clear a loose ball in the 3rd minute and Ware’s Allotey went past keeper Tommy Dymott to make it 1-0 to the away side early on. The visitors dominated large spells of the half, and Dymott was called upon to produce a fine save to keep the scoreline 1-0 with half an hour on the clock. The Rams had chances, the best falling to Avto Akhsiashvili who weaved his way into the box before his shot was saved. Ware went on to make it 2-0, when The Rams failed to deal with another loose ball, giving Soulya – Osekanogo an easy finish. Josh Marcon came inches from reducing the deficit just before the break with a great freekick being tipped over the bar.
Into the second half and Dymott was again called on to make another good save to deny the visitors. The Rams did manage to get the ball in the net, but it didn’t count, as the referee blew the whistle for an injury just as it was going into the net. The afternoon got worse for the Rams as Allotey made it 3-0 to the away side with a good finish in the 60th minute. The Rams had their chances but did not show enough in front of goal to get anything back and the game finished 3-0 to Ware.
