Seven days ago Beaconsfield SYCOB had no manager and only half a team. One week on and they sit proudly atop the Calor Gas League Central Division with a maximum six out of six points.
New manager Gary Meakin, along with a host of new faces, has turned the despair of losing previous boss James Pritchard and the core of his team just a week to the season beginning into one of the best starts The Rams have ever had to a new league campaign. Top of the table after two games!
Two goals from Zak Joseph, the opener a real screamer of a shot, plus a first for the season from last seasons top scorer Yashwa Romeo were enough to see off a spirited if a little physical Egham Town.
SYCOB team was
1. Derek Lewis
2. Sam Grayley
3. Craig Carby
4. Yiadom Yeboah (Captain)
5. Jordan Ajanlekoko
6. Tom Inch
7. Nathan Webb
8. Nathan Poulton (Substitute: Will Sturgess)
9. Yashwa Romeo (Substitute: Ollie Beazley)
10. Ben Long
11. Zak Joseph

12. Sam Walters

16. Gary Meakin
