RAM of the Match:
Beaconsfield lost 7-1 away to top of the league Real Bedford.
Beaconsfield were without some of this season's key players and were up against a free scoring top of the league Real Bedford. Both teams started well and could both have taken an early lead in the first 5 minutes. However, the home side soon took control and began to run away with the game. Under 18’s keeper Matt Keane pushed away a shot, only for it to be smashed home by Joe Evans to open the scoring. Real Bedford then showed why they are top, extending their lead when Evans scored again before Drew Richardson gave them a commanding 3-0 lead. As the game approached half time the hosts made it 4, with Stevens tapping home.
The second half saw a lot of the same, with Real Bedford making it 5-0 in the opening few mins as Evans completed his hat trick, before he got his 4th of the afternoon to make it 6-0. Beaconsfield struck back to reduce the deficit with Manu Oke-William heading in from a corner to make it 6-1. Real Bedford scored again to see the game out 7-1 winners, as Snelus fired home.
Beaconsfield are back on the road next Saturday, travelling to Kings Langley, looking to return to their recent good form.
