Its been 6 games since we made a change in first team management at the club following a disappointing start, with Sam Togwell leading the team in an interim role since the change, those 6 games have resulted in 2 league wins, a county cup win and only one defeat with the team scoring 13 goals and conceding 6, with a return of 8 points out of a possible 15.

The team has responded well to Sam and the changes at the club and Sam has continued with our long-term view of playing younger players to build a sustainable future, with that in mind the board of directors is delighted to remove the Interim title from Sam giving both him and the team some stability for the forseeable future.

Technical Director Tristan Lewis added "The goal this season was always to rebuild the group and maintain our league status and we have not changed in direction of travel and have always felt we had built a competitive young side, Sam has grown into the role in recent weeks building a strong rapport with the players and the team behind the team whilst all the time adopting the values we feel are key in both performance and future of the club so with that in mind we feel he deserves this opportunity to embark on his management career, so we are delighted to remove the Interim part of his title and look forward to officially calling Sam the First Team Manager and continuing the impressive start he has made.
