An "eventful week" at Beaconsfield SYCOB ended with a well deserved and hard earned three points away to one of the title favourites Dunstable Town in front of a crowd of 105.
New manager Gary Meakin, in his first game in charge of The Rams, did brilliantly just to get a full squad available for the match after all the comings and goings of the past seven days. Twice SYCOB went behind and twice they drew level (with strikes by Sam Grayley and Nathan Poulton)and right at the death they secured all three points with a calmly taken goal by debutant Zak Joseph. If this game is any indication of the season ahead then the Rams Fans are in for a hell of a ride!
The SYCOB team for the match was
1. Michael Pearce (substitute: Cameron Inch)
2. Sam Grayley
3. Craig Carby
4. Yiadom Yeboah (Captain)
5. Will Sturgess (substitute: Ollie Beazley)
