About Us

Beaconsfield Town Youth FC was originally founded in 1993 under the name of Holtspur FC as a community-focused not for profit club, aiming to provide local boys and girls of all abilities with the opportunity to learn and improve their football skills in a safe and fun environment. The Club is now 30 years old and boasts over 550 players, with teams for age groups ranging from Under 6 to Under 18, The club is delighted to also possess girls’ teams from Under 8 level right up to the Ladies’ first team.

In June 2006, the club was formally awarded the status of an FA Charter Standard Club. This acknowledges that we reach the highest level of FA standards, that all our teams have at least one FA qualified coach and a registered first aider and that all our volunteer helpers are CRC checked. We have maintained our Charter status continuously since then and were awarded Level 2 accreditation ahead of the 2023-24 season which we have since retained for the 2024-25 campaign.

Last season, thanks to becoming a single integrated community club with Beaconsfield Town FC, we moved to a single all-red kit with a single badge. Our younger age groups have had the chance to be mascots at home matches and our youth teams have benefitted from greater access to the 3G pitch and facilities at Holloways Park. Whilst the two clubs remain separate legal and financial entities, with their own committees and management, our vision is to operate as a combined brand and collaborate to provide a seamless offering for all local footballers, with the aim of becoming South Bucks’ leading community football club.

The club gives local players of all abilities the chance to learn the game we love and make lifelong friends from across the community. Everything we do depends on the commitment and goodwill of our army of volunteer coaches and administrators, who give up their free time to run training sessions, supervise squads at matches and provide the necessary logistical support. We thank all of them for their great work and are always open to welcoming new volunteers!
